DaugEmbassy TV was created in Ontario in 2018 as an independent, non-profit, educational reform initiative dedicated to continuously improve and influence the reshaping of the thought process of the black community especially, the average African by elevating discussions to critical thinking, advancing education and information through investigative journalism, leadership development academy, and economic empowerment programs.
One look at the world news today and we can easily see that even in the year 2020 our world still struggles with relations regarding race and diversity of its people. Although most individuals will say they are not biased, they are in many ways due to their upbringing, family structure, and experiences. It might be unintentional, but bias still exists. This holds back our Black community. Our board of directors, as part of minority populations ourselves, know first-hand how this can impact one’s future and opportunities that are available to us.
Our vision is to be a leader in developing and implementing effective, innovative programs, and practices that align engaging Africans, changing the world one head at a time.
So far, in the three short years our organization has been assisting the Black communities we have offered the following:
DACS studio will continue the work we have done so far but with a more focused purpose behind finding more higher-level opportunities to the Black African community as they develop language and tech skills that can improve one’s life in Canada and beyond.
The purpose of this studio is to allow African people and those who are language deficient (English or French) to come together and design and/or develop their own personal missions.
Their goal might be better language development in either or both languages to achieve a better job. They may want to add technology skills to their resume. No matter their specific desires, our studio will improve public speaking skills vital to a more lucrative future.
