The LP national officials were suspended in April following allegations of document forgery related to substitutions made during the previous general elections. The suspension prompted a lawsuit seeking their removal from their positions.
However, after hearing arguments from both parties, Justice Hamza Muazu granted the stay of execution order, allowing the defendants to resume their roles as party officials until the appeal is determined. This decision temporarily overturns the previous suspension.
